Speaker: Donna Miller - Business Consultant (SCDEW Upates)
Business Consultant, South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, covering six counties.
As a business consultant with over 3.5 years of experience, Ms. Miller specializes in assisting employers with workforce solutions, including hosting hiring events, organizing job fairs, and leveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter to connect businesses with qualified candidates. She also designs innovative events, such as résumé and application drives, to streamline the hiring process for employers.
Ms. Miller is passionate about bridging the gap between jobseekers and employers by addressing not only employment needs but also guiding individuals to thrive in the workplace. One of her most successful projects was during Workforce Development Month, where she partnered with Voorhees University to host a job fair with over 300 attendees and 40+ vendors. Ms. Miller helped to prepare Voorhees students with interview skills, résumé building, and professional development.
With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Management Concentration), Ms. Miller is dedicated to fostering partnerships and creating impactful workforce solutions that support both businesses and jobseekers.
