Speaker: Cyrus Berdan (Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the IRS)

Cyrus Berdan is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the Communication and Liaison Office of the IRS.  As a stakeholder liaison, he partners with organizations to provide education and outreach that support the American taxpayer.  Before working with the IRS, Cyrus had extensive experience in risk and compliance with the banking, finance, and accounting industries.

Cyrus has owned an accounting firm that provided end-to-end accounting and financial services to small businesses that otherwise could not afford the services of large accounting firms.  He has also worked in risk and compliance for global banks, including Credit Suisse, Truist, Bank of America, and TD Bank.

Cyrus resides in Greer, South Carolina, with his family of 7.  In his free time, he volunteers for veteran organizations, including the American Legion and the Wounded Warrior Program.  As a veteran, Cyrus understands the challenges service members have assimilating back to civilian life, and most with disabilities.
