Speaker: Kenyarda Edwards (South Carolina OSHA Outreach and Education Program Manager)

Mr. Edwards is a 1999 graduate of Benedict College.  He began my career in safety as a Compliance Manager in retail from 2002-2014.  In 2014, he joined the OSHA family as a Safety Compliance Officer.  In 2019, after five years with OSHA compliance. Kenyarda became a Safety Consultant with Office of Outreach and Education.  Later that year, he was promoted to Consultation Safety Supervisor.  In July 2023, Mr.

Join us as Paul Famolari, Assistant Executive Director for Unemployment Insurance (UI) at the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW), discuss the upcoming Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) reporting requirements.  

Jessie Westbrook with The Blood Connection for the Orangeburg area will discuss how their organization can provide support to our local health care partners with adequate, safe, and cost effective blood supplies and services. 

MSHRM member Joni McDaniel, Regional Workforce Advisor with the SC Department of Commerce, will present on benefits of employers working with the Department of Commerce.

"Where are the Workers? Reengaging the Workforce" will be presented by Diana Goldwire and Bryan Grady from SC DEW.

Our holiday meeting will include a wrap up of the year.  A breakfast buffet will be provided by County Line Catering.  An optional plant tour will be available at approxiamately 9 am.

Echo McAlhany, Senior Director of Practice Operations, and Elizabeth Ostoja, NP/Occupational Medicine will present.  A catered lunch from RMC will be provided.
