Speaker: Cyrus Berdan (Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the IRS)

Cyrus Berdan is a Senior Stakeholder Liaison with the Communication and Liaison Office of the IRS.  As a stakeholder liaison, he partners with organizations to provide education and outreach that support the American taxpayer.  Before working with the IRS, Cyrus had extensive experience in risk and compliance with the banking, finance, and accounting industries.

Speaker: Christopher O'Neill - Apprenticeship Consultant (Apprenticeship Carolina - a division of SC Technical College System)

Christopher O'Neill is an Apprenticeship Consultant serving Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, Technical College of the Lowcountry, and Trident Technical College. He began working with Apprenticeship Carolina in October 2024.

Speaker: Hazel Washington (Wage & Hour Investigator)

As one of the investigators assigned to the Columbia District Office, Ms. Washington conducts investigations of employers across all industries within South Carolina to ensure compliance with various federal labor laws, to include FMLA.  (Major Laws Administered/Enforced | U.S.
