Meeting

Our May meeting presenter will be Eric Cox with Kelly Tours - Grayline Savannah.  Eric has been working with Orangeburg County and the Orangeburg County Development Commission to provide fill transportation needs for employees in our area.  We will also have time for a Q & A.

Our April speaker will be Rebecca Battle-Bryant.  She will present "Outside The Box: Recruiting & Retention Strategies for the 2019 Job Market."  Rebecca is a former Midlands SHRM member and board member, including serving as president in 2008 and 2009.  She is currently president of Battle Plan Consulting, LLC based here in Orangeburg.  For more information, see https://battleplanconsulting.com.

Valeria Green, the Director of Experiential Learning - Carolina Cluster Career Pathways Program State Office at the Claflin University Department of Academic Affairs, will present on the Clusters Pathway Program and be our lunch sponsor.

Our January meeting will move from the first to the second Wednesday of the month to accomodate everyone returning to work from the holidays.  Attorney Marshall Newton with Gignilliat, Savitz & Bettis LLP will present on the SC Pregnancy Accomodations Act.

Holiday celebration and wrap up of the year.  Also includes a round table discussion.
